Outlet Volunteers - Making a Difference

Our success would not be possible without the help of our volunteers.  If you are interested in making a difference for local families and having a positive impact on our environment, give us a call.

Details

The store is open Tuesday - Saturday and needs volunteers each day. Please sign up in advance so we can plan for projects! Working at the Outlet can get a little dirty so please wear appropriate clothes and proper shoes. We will provide work gloves if necessary.

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Volunteers under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Types of Volunteers

  • Individuals
We need people to sort through inventory, stage our ‘showroom’, help customers, test appliances, clean, cashier, help in our office, design our merchandise displays, translate Spanish, manage Craigslist and other online selling projects, and much more! We can always use your help!
  • Deconstruction
Strategically 'ripping apart' a house... Doesn't it sound fun! Join our deconstruction group to help salvage reusable materials from construction remodels. Cabinets, doors, trim are great examples of materials we can divert from the landfill.

  • Group Projects
Great team building experience for your office, club or church!
  • Community Service
A great way to give to your local community!

To get involved in any of these areas, please contact the Outlet Director  or call (970) 524-0669.

Volunteers make it happen… We couldn’t do it without you!
