Volunteers - Finding Land

 Land in Eagle County is some of the most expensive in the country, with lots alone in Eagle County costing $50,000 or more. Much of Habitat’s recent building has been in Lake County where land is less expensive. Habitat is looking for opportunities to joint venture with builders or developers to build multiple housing units with their required affordable housing credits, or other owners willing to sell below market value in order to eliminate poverty housing. We also hope to work with interested realtors, appraisers, or title companies who would like to contribute their services. We would enjoy your assistance in helping to find land suitable for a Habitat home.
